I mentioned last week that we attended a Christmas dinner at a friend’s house. Not only was it absolutely beautiful, the menu was incredible. Best meal I’ve had in a LONG time. Whitney really outdid herself this year!!
Each place setting came with a beautiful ornament that also served as a party favor. What a great idea!
The menu consisted of the following (disclaimer – these are not the actual recipes from the dinner, I just found similar delicious sounding recipes to share with you):
Balsamic Braised Brussel Sprouts
And for dessert a choice between:
Salted Caramel Chocolate Cake and Pumpkin Layer Cake
I had both, of course.
After dinner, well before too, we enjoyed egg nog and a champagne cocktail, as well as a hot chocolate bar.
We were nice…
And we were naughty…
