Another flashback. I will catch up soon, I hope. After our road trip to Kansas City in June, we decided to take one more to Missouri in early July. We left early one Friday morning to get there to enjoy the sun. We had 8 people, 2 cars, and too much beer to mention.
After spending the entire afternoon on a party barge we rented, we headed back to our condos to check in and recover from a day at the lake. That evening, we stayed in and ate a delicious homemade meal that we all pitched in on, potluck style. No pics, sorry. The next day the boys went golfing and the girls did a spa and pool day. It was so relaxing and since we were having record highs this summer, it was nice to spend a day in a cool pool with cold drinks.
Later, we met for dinner at the Buzzard Bar and stayed for Clay, the entertainment. We had a blast, if you can tell in these pics.
If you go to Big Cedar, I recommend a night outing to see Clay, he was hilarious and loved to heckle our table for some reason.
Our last day we drove home, but not before a tour of Fantastic Caverns, America’s Only Ride Thru Cave!
Yes, we were the only people there without kids. No, we didn’t care.
