So sorry for the brief hiatus. I squeezed in a ski vacation (pics coming soon), so I haven’t had time to blog since coming back and catching up on work.

I have been wanting to share with you my new favorite brunch place in Tulsa. It’s one of my favorite restaurants for dinner and I recently found out they were open for brunch. It’s so good that I’ve been 2 out of the past 3 weekends, only skipping last weekend because I was in Colorado.

The place is Smoke on Cherry Street. I love them for many reasons… the local ingredients, the rooftop garden, the delicious food, and now brunch WITH a bloody mary bar.

The prices are reasonable and there is so much food you can ususally squeeze two meals out of a brunch. Unless you’re extra hungover hungry…

I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy ($8 but comes with eggs & potatoes). You must try them. If you don’t want them as the meal, at least order a side. The biscuits are so unique and delicious, you’ll be dreaming of how you can make them at home. I’ll let you know if I figure that part out, but at $8, you might as well just buy them at Smoke.

The chicken fried kurobuta (what?) porkloin is ridiculous…. here’s proof.

Um yeah, that is chicken-fried BACON. To quote the roomie, “that is the best bacon I’ve ever had.”

One of my favorites of Smoke brunch is the man-mosas. A little more champagne than orange juice… yes please. And as I mentioned before, a well-stocked bloody mary bar.
