I guess the technical name of these brownies is: gooey cookies and cream double chocolate cake bars. Ain’t nobody got time for that! Let’s be honest, they should be called crack brownies. What else would you call layer upon layer of delicious chocolate and sugar?
Let me explain. Layer 1 – thick, devil’s food cake made in a way that the texture resembles brownies. Layer 2 – crushed oreos (you can see where this is going). Layer 3 – sweetened condensed milk (what?!?). Layer 4 – chocolate chips (just to push you over the edge). See what I mean? Crack brownies.
My friend, Brown Brown, made these for my birthday and I was immediately addicted. So I decided to make a few batches for Sam’s birthday today because chocolate is the quickest way to the heart, at least for Sam.
